Established in 1988 on the Durham University Science Park we moved in 1996 to purpose built laboratories in nearby Bowburn.
We are close to the historic city of Durham and not far from the magnificent High Force waterfall from which we take our name.
HFR specialise in chemical synthesis and R&D for the pharmaceutical, biotech and fine chemicals industries.

HFR is located at Bowburn, Durham in the north east of England. We are just off the A1(M) motorway ( Junction 61), 30 minutes by road from both Newcastle and Teesside International airports, which have excellent links to London, Amsterdam and other major European airports. HFR is 3 miles from Durham railway station which is on the London / Edinburgh east coast main rail line. |
